~Life After Death~

I wrote a new poem (my first) and I wanted to share it... It is below... Hopefully you like it =D

You hear falsehoods and lies, you live and you die.. We say good bye and weep because your buried 6 foot deep.. We creep in the shadows of mourning with our hearts churning.. Our souls burning with hope and faith, wishing it was not the case... But now your dead, lying in your crimson bed.. We shed our tears of sorrow, 'til we forget the day of 'morrow.. But death is not a victim of pain, for no life is lived without gain.. Life after death you will acheive, but love may not intercede.. Gun's firin, churches abalze, this life after death sure is a maze.. You may rest now, young soldier.. Your deeds are done, the battle is won..

The pain of life after death is mute, there is no place for cute.. The acid may burn the heart, but that torment is only the start.. Like an apple on a tree, the blood will pool below the knee.. Your death was quick and painless, 'twas arrogant and brainless.. Your body was so maimed, that the life it held was claimed.. Now you lie rested, all you own now divested.. You may rest now, young soldier.. Your deeds are done, the battle is won..

My emotions run wild, they act like a child.. The pain is great, but it was fate.. Your life is gone, like the dong, of a bell, that fell, into hell... My eyes adjust, fore they must.. Your body is moldy, its getting oldy.. Your in heaven now, smilin down on us.. Only if we could turn back the hands of time, make it count one last time... You may rest now, young soldier.. Your deeds are done, the battle is won..

To grow vibrant once more, to knock on death's door.. Now take life's lessons, lest death shall beckon.. But don't crave affection, or you will slave for imperfection.. You were loved so, but now you must go.. Live life after death, fore you shall save me a spot at the table..You may rest now, young soldier.. Your deeds are done, the battle is won..
